ROBLOX IS REMOVING EVENTS ON MAY 13th. WE MUST ACT FAST!!! NOW!!!!

Roblox is a platform for games that has a huge fanbase, and is a billion dollar company. Of course, like any platform for games, they update. But sometimes, the updates are...not good to say the least. But sometimes, we also get good updates! But on April 2nd, 2019. Roblox annouced its offically removing its key source for fun in the platform - EVENTS.

Events are a HUGE part of Roblox as a company and has been something Roblox has had since its beginning in 2005. Milions of players loved these events, even some youtubers like Conor3D, Epikrika, NapkinNate ETC. became famous and got money by helping the community of ROBLOX with getting prizes from these events.

Events split into two, seasonal and monthly events.

Monthly Events are original events ROBLOX makes ,as the name says, monthly. These events are usually sponsored by an movie or food product. (Example: Battle Arena, Innovation Tycoon, Action...ETC.)

Seasonal Events are Holiday-based events. ROBLOX usually makes them 10-5 days before the actual Holiday begins. These are, by the community, the MOST VALUED events. (Example: Egg Hunts, Christmas, Hallows Eve...ETC.)

But on May 13th, ROBLOX will remove both monthly and seasonal events and replace them for Live-Ops Events.

Q: What are Live-Ops Events?

 

Live-Ops Events will be daily based events that promote the games on ROBLOX and also promote the developers who made them.

ROBLOX, we as a community are not happy about this..in any way...do not get us wrong ROBLOX, this is not a threat, its a plead, to not do this...

This will completely ruin the purpose of ROBLOX, it will just be for devs. And when alot of players leave, developers won't have anyone to play their games...

Events were a big part of almost ALL of the community's childhood. And it will be RIPPED from everybody's heart. 

If ROBLOX removes events. Alot of players will be really mad and angry that ROBLOX did that.

We as a community, do not like this update. We don't need it and we don't want it.

ROBLOX, dont do this, you will lose sponsors, players and maybe even money.

We would gladly appreciate if you listened to us, just this time, please ROBLOX....
