Thank you all for the support with this petition, which has exceeded expectations. It only started on Friday night and we already have approaching 900 signatures.  Thank you!

For the first time, an important differentiation has now been made publicly between self-contained holiday units and shared holiday facilities. This is huge progress and it may lead to caravan parks and second homes opening before hotels and B&Bs on the 20th July. The decision on this is still to be taken, so it is very important to keep signing and sharing. 

We do not want an unsafe decision to be taken, but we still want to make sure that the difference between self-contained holiday units and hotels/B&Bs is considered when making this last decision. If that is done, then that is all we can ask for.
