Happy Thanksgiving!

To everyone that has signed and/or commented this petition I just want to say thank you. Last word I got was that there was a lost hiker in the Meacham Lake area that brought law enforcement and firemen together to perform the search. After all was over the State Police asked where is the new boat launch supposed to be built. One of the locals simply said "You are standing on it." Everyone there was surprised at the answer and said "now we see why everyone in against the boat launch." This probably doesn't mean too much, but my question again is the safety issues and why people like the State Police are out of the planning loop with the DEC? Dave Meacham
