We are so close to a major milestone in this journey. While there is not currently an update, we would like to take a moment of pause and reflection.

There is no way to properly put into words what the over-whelming support and outpouring of love has done to aid this cause. When we began, it was as a reaction to one event that happened at one point in time. But our story has grown to encompass so much more than one person's story. Over and over, we have heard the chorus resound -

"It happened to me,"

"It happened to me,"

"It happened to me." 

...

There's a problem. There's a brokenness. And no amount of shying away from the insurmountable pain and suffering that has been inflicted will help heal the wounds we carry in our hearts and on our bodies.

But holding people responsible for their words and actions is a real step that can be taken to help us rebuild a society where everyone can thrive. Honest people have no trouble being held accountable...

We have no power to alter the past. We have no ability to know what is to come. The time and place where the bulk of our influence can be felt is now, and here. So thank you so many countless, countless times for being here, now, together with us in spirit as we all sing out together as one voice a prayer, that we will be heard by God, by all presences of the divine, of all powers that be - please make the apathy and the wrongful exploitation end. Please let us be heard.
