Yes, we saw it.

It will be interesting to see how Robert K. Adrian is going to be able to support this libelous opinion that a PR firm was ever paid (spoiler alert: 100% false).

This conspiracy theory that we paid people to show up to the retention campaign announcement is sure novel, but untrue.

The supplemental document linked in the Muddy River News article posted above says Robert Adrian does understand the digital penetration did occur, but he contends it was consensual - again, the age of consent in Illinois is 17; no, it does not matter if the assailant is aware of the age of the victim.

Adrian and his friends who stand with him in front of Drew Clinton's lawyer's office in his retention campaign announcement photo keep saying we weren't at the trial and since we weren't physically present at the trial, there's no way we know what happened there. But for one, by that logic, then none of them should be credible to speak on what happened that night in the basement. For two, unlike the rape, there is a written record of the trial. And the defense wanted to throw out Cammy's testimony, which is a motion Adrian granted.

So.

Now would be a good time to remind everyone that we believe Drew's testimony. His account of what happened seems nearly totally accurate. The only thing we don't agree on is that it couldn't have been consensual. Drew saw himself in a position of supervision over Cammy. His perception was that she complained frequently of how terribly sick she felt. She'd been laying on a couch for 4-5 hours in the middle of the night. That is what he testified. Ok.

The fact she was 16 is that - it is a fact. It does not have to be proven because it is not up for debate. A fact is a fact. It does not matter if Drew knew her age. It does not matter if he doesn't know the lawful definition of consent.

Robert K Adrian SHOULD know the lawful definition of consent. And he SHOULD know that what occurred does not allow for this incident to have been consensual.

He is lying.

This article of his is libel.

Please continue to support this cause.

Thank you.
