We haven't updated for a little while because we are in the middle of a lull. There is some activity occurring since the protest - the appeal process has formally started with the filing of a pair of "docketing statements," and the District Attorney's office has filed an objection to Drew Clinton's record being expunged. Things are happening, but slowly, and we hope the lack of hype and excitement that was present at the beginning of this case hasn't caused this movement to wane in resolve.

This world is filled with commotion.

Always, everywhere, our lives are filled with loved ones and strangers, duties and hobbies, work and recreation, thoughts and actions - all of these people and things and ideas which compete for our attentions and concern. And truth be told, there will always be more worthy people and causes that require attention than time to adequately attend to them all. We have individual families, friends, lives, and pursuits that keep us busy, and such is life.

The love and support that we have received from the inception of this petition has been astounding. We will never be able to thank you enough for taking the time to care about this case, to care about this story.

As spring approaches, as schedules begin to fill with sports and outdoor adventures, as world events overwhelm us with all the insurmountably difficult issues of the world, we only mean to leave this gentle note for now, that we are still here. We are still standing. We are still fighting. And every ounce of support you are able to continue lending us is worth a pound of cure for our cause.

May peace and healing reach you as well.

Please continue to stand here with us,

because we are stronger together.
