While tuning into Fox News recently I had the opportunity to listen to Fox News contributors presenting their feelings and concerns both for and against gun control. I intend to keep this short and at the same time present as many commonsense concerns as possible. It is a well-known fact that mass shootings do not take place anywhere but in GUN FREE ZONES. Don't for 1 minute think that these perpetrators do not care about dying. Otherwise they would not be particular whether they were in a gun free zone or not. I am not trying to say that if armed citizens were present at these shootings that there would be no casualties or fatalities but, I am saying that casualties and fatalities would be drastically reduced.

Here are some of the arguments presented today on Fox News from pro-gun and anti-gun enthusiasts.

1. For the past 30 years there has not been any mass shootings deterred by any armed citizens. My response is this, how ignorant can they be, it is because of them that there were not any armed citizens there to prevent the situation from getting worse. They are afraid to admit that if these situations would have had armed citizens present how many lives could have been saved.

2. There are 90 deaths in our country every day due to knife and gun murders against our (unarmed) citizens on our streets. Now granted these are not mass killings most of the time, but these thugs and the mass murderers have nothing to fear when they know that the odds that their victims will be armed are slim to none.

3. When these incidents occur usually most of the damage is done within the 1st few minutes. The average time for 1st responders to arrive on these scenes is something like 10 minutes. Most or all of the casualties and fatalities have already occurred.

4. When Isis can recruit new people with clean criminal records, they jump at the opportunity. This allows them to get completely through the most stringent background checks in existence, even those in Chicago and New York City. This isn't because it gives them the opportunity to acquire a lot of extra firepower, but they know when these weapons are used in crimes and recovered it gets traced back to legal sales and that is what stirs up the anti-gunners and liberal politicians. This alone is a bigger weapon than the guns that they have legally purchased.

5. We need to let our politicians know that we need their support in reducing gun free zones as close to zero as possible. We have been living with gun free zones for decades that have not been getting the job done, and it's about time that we undertake a new solution. We the voting public can make it happen. We must let these politicians know that their constituents are serious.

Please sign our petition and share this with your email contacts and every social media you belong to, so that the necessary signatures can be obtained and presented to our elected officials ASAP before the White House gets a chance to move very much more forward than they already have. To our elected officials we are asking you and your colleagues from both sides of the fence to represent our concerns as law abiding gun owners who take the 2nd amendment to heart to encourage all states to make conceal and carry and open carry lawful and reciprocal between states all across America for travelers and especially neighboring states. Nothing else Washington is trying has made any difference so it's time to put commonsense gun laws to work to start saving lives instead of taking them.
