Yesterday, the Associated Press ran an article about the renaming project, and national outlets from Newsweek to the Washington Post picked up on the story. With this broader platform, the number of signatures had continued to grow. 

There's still time for us to reach more than 1000 signatures before delivering our letter to BU leadership on the day following Indigenous Peoples' Day (which the university will recognize as an official holiday for the first time this year!).
