Wishing Well Sanctuary is run by a board of directors who refuse to provide proper care for the animals. Volunteers who worked at the sanctuary have come forward with alarming evidence of extreme neglect and abuse. Animals are denied veterinary care until it is too late and die. Injuries are left untreated. Animals with chronic illness suffer without treatment. Animals are not given immunization, are not spayed/neutered, hooves are left untrimmed and pastures are unkept. The animals are overcrowded in small enclosures and are even separated from their families and given away to unknown facilities. 

There have been numerous instances where the staff at Wishing Well Sanctuary suggested volunteer assistance from experts who were willing to help. The assistance was refused and the staff were verbally abused and threatened.

We ask that Rob Keffer, Mayor of Bradford West Gwillimbury puts pressure on the board of directors of Wishing Well Sanctuary to re-home all the animals to vetted sanctuaries!
