Fighting for Our Patients and Our Community

On Wednesday, August 5, thousands of CNA/NNU members will
be participating in a National Day of Action to call attention to
the health care industry’s failure to protect nurses and health care
workers, and to demand prioritizing people over profit. As nurses
continue to be on the front lines of this pandemic, too many lives
have been lost—Black and Brown communities disproportionately
being ravaged by COVID, and health care workers losing their lives
due to employers’ negligence.

●RNs have access to safe personal protective equipment (PPE)
●Safe staffing levels
●Immediate testing for exposed RNs and a negative test result prior to returning to work
●Incentive Pay
●Increase ancillary staffing and provide Resource Nurses for access to rest & meal periods
