Wanted a Tax Expert in our group ** to look at this video, and confirm if Jim Harra's comments were dissembling – were they saying they just don’t have the time to get a system in place for us..?

Wanted Accountant - Case for Dividend Income
Are there any Accountants with experience in helping clients with applications - that could make a strong five bullet point case for Dividends being classed as income – ie for parental applications of student loans – so that this can be added to letters to our MP’s?

Wanted Twitter Co-Ordinator
A co-ordinator to help while our Victoria is poorly (get well soon!), to target THE TREASURY SELECT COMMITTEE: Targets for Emails, letters and Twitter:

The Express

A BBC Select Committee broadcast ** yesterday, where Mel Stride spoke to Jim Harra @ HMRC about our situation.

On BBC News last night, it’s great to feel we are finally getting some traction. Thank you to Keith Webb for stepping up at the last minute, and Adrian Silk for being on standby.
We need to keep this in the limelight as much as possible.

Twitter
Below is a list of MP’s we can target, by email and on Twitter.  We also need to target top journalists on Twitter as much as possible – keep our voices loud and clear!

Steve Baker (Cons) -
steve.baker@parliament.uk  @SteveBakerHW
Angela Eagle (Lab) -
angela.eagle@parliament.uk  @angelaeagle
Liz Kendall (Lab) -
liz.kendall@parliament.uk  @leicesterliz
Other targets - the Business, Energy & Industry Strategy Committee

Rachel Reeves -
rachel.reeves.mp@parliament.uk
Ed Miliband -
ed.miliband.mp@parliament.uk
Mark Pawsey –
mark.pawsey.mp@parliament.co.uk
Nusrat Ghani –
nusrat.ghani.mp@parliament.co.uk
** And tag everything in Twitter with @JimHarraHMRC @MelJStride @HMRCgovuk @hmtreasury

NOTE - IF WRITING TO MP’s
You should start the letter by saying: “I am writing to you in your capacity as a Member of the Treasury Select Committee”
– otherwise they will just say “I can’t reply as I am not your constituency MP”. Keep it short and to the point.
