It's been a whirlwind first few days of the campaign, and we can't thank you all enough for your support so far!
Up to now, over 940 of you have signed up to help us lobby to put Changing Places Toilets in EVERY UK sports venue - that's simply incredible.
When we first came up with the campaign, we wondered whether the support would be there. Changing Places toilets, though so incredibly important, don't seem to be widely known about by those who don't use them.
Thank you for helping to prove that assumption was incorrect!
Rise For Sport In The News
Have you seen the campaign in the media in the last few days? Thanks to your support, since launching on Friday, we've seen the following happen:
- We had a 10-minute segment on BBC Breakfast, highlighting both the campaign and the importance of Changing Places toilets more broadly, featuring Zack, Fran, Rachel and one of our campaign ambassadors, Anne Wafula Strike MBE
- Anne was featured in a Guardian article that focused on the campaign and her experiences as a disabled person
- Anne also featured in an interview on Radio 5 Live on Monday evening (skip to 1:43:45 to listen), talking about Changing Places & accessibility in sport
- Chesterfield FC Community Trust have announced their support for #RiseForSport
New pieces of coverage are coming through every day, but to keep the momentum and visibility going we need your help!
- Thanks so much for signing - now, go the extra mile and share the petition with your friends and family (through social media or word of mouth!)
- Head to www.riseforsport.co.uk and download our form letter, which you can send to your MP or local sports venue
