Convince RISD Administrators to Keep Exposé Alive!

This petition had 413 supporters

Since 2009, Exposé has been RISD's only fully student-run gallery and has provided a space for exhibitions of art, musical events, community gatherings, and has been a place for RISD students to engage with the broader Providence community. It has also taught students how to run an opening, deal with publicity, and curate shows.

This spring, the owner of our building evicted us and our neighbors, leaving Exposé without a home. We are currently in the process of trying to convince RISD's administration to help us find and rent a new location to allow Exposé to continue with its mission.

If Exposé was a part of your time at RISD, or if you believe the school should maintain an independent gallery space, please take the time to sign this petition. If you had an opening, enjoyed a friend's show, saw art or heard music you wouldn't have otherwise, met new people, or generally had a positive experience at Exposé - please write a comment with some of your experiences.
