Trophy Hunting: the hunting of an animal purely for sport and pleasure, often taking part of the animal's carcass as a prize.

While it's illegal to bring in these 'prizes' from overseas, trophy hunting is legal in Australia as long as it stays within our borders. So as long as you keep your hunting on our 7.692 million square kilometres, or 2.97 million square miles, you're good.

Vulnerable and threatened animal species are dwindling every day due to trophy hunting. More than 1.26 million animal trophies have been taken back to the U.S alone. It's legal in at least 20 countries, and Australia is on the list.

Let's get it off.
