In the world there is only 3% of drinkable water and the largest sources are the Great Lakes. Any leakage of fossil fuel into these waters seriously compromises the planet. Pipeline 5 poses a great risk; any slight mistake or accident could cause an irreversible damage to the pipeline, hence the lakes. 

Since we have the largest group of freshwater lakes on earth by total area, and second largest by total volume, containing 21% of the worlds surface fresh water, according to the EPA, we need to be good stewards of this almost endangered resource.

Help us convince Gov. Snyder to SHUT DOWN Pipeline 5 and to keep our lake empty of fossil fuel infrastructure.
