Last night, Gov. Snyder delivered the Michigan State of the State address. He apologized and outlined a course of action, but at no time did he mention the fact that Flint residents are still forced to pay for poisoned water! Class action lawsuits have been filed against the state of Michigan. But is that what it’s going to take? Will a Governor that apologized and acted contrite in his speech need the courts to push him to do the right thing on water bills? Gov. Snyder: stop forcing Flint residents to pay for poisoned water. Get them refunds for poisoned water already paid for. If you are working in good faith to “fix” this situation, this is the very least you can do.
