A dog permanently chained suffers great psychological damage. An otherwise friendly dog will become neurotic, unhappy, and often aggressive. Also, their necks can become raw and covered with sores from tight collars and and straining to escape. So many dogs often get tangled, which then they can't access food, water, and shelter. We need to stop the inhumane act of keeping a dog on a chain solely for the purpose of being a alarm for a house or a guard dog.  Let's instead help people get an alarm system and not have a dog if only for the sole purpose of guarding their home. We need to be a voice for these voiceless animals and stop this!
