The park has been transformed during lockdown from a rat run road route to a place of peace and harmony. Children can enjoy cycling safely, wild life can roam freely and beauty has been restored.

Please sign this petition requesting that cars be permanently banned from using the park as a short cut. 

Visitors can still be allowed access to the park by car where they will be permitted to use the designated car parks.

This change would not only restore the park to what it is meant to be, a place of leisure that is safe to roam in. It may also reduce car use in the borough, thus affecting pollution levels and promoting better health.
