Dear supporters, I see from your comments that there are many people who have assumed, had and enjoyed free access to the playing field and that this has been the case for decades. There are comments about how, in general, access to open spaces is becoming more and more restricted. How true. Well, the message to the Trust has to be simple. We'd like full access back. They are beginning to look at ways to resolve this and the pressure must be kept up, as they do not quite seem to get it yet. What I personally want to hear from the Trust, put simply is: “the field is for local residents to use and if any club’s behaviour adversely affects the free and full access to the playing field for the local inhabitants, then the club’s use of the field will have to be revisited.” Please keep up the good work and spread the message.
