Boycott Uline

The Issue

Extraordinarily wealthy families are extending their wealth and power by subverting our political processes. This is particularly apparent with the most wealthy and powerful "conservative" donors: the Mercers, the Koch brothers, and Richard Uihlein. These "conservatives" seek to undermine government by undermining science, undermining truthful reporting, and supporting candidates who share the common goal of cutting taxes, cutting government programs, and increasing economic inequality. In other words, they use their vast money and political influence to garner even more money and influence, at the expenses of justice, equal opportunity, the future of our country, and perhaps even the health and survival of the ecosystem that supports human life.

Look no further than the 2017 tax cut. This tax cut will add trillions of dollars to our national debt. These supposed conservatives have mortgaged the future of all Americans to pay for this tax cut? The reason is obvious. They don't care about the future of all Americans. While most Americans will see paltry benefits, the eventual cost will materially hurt nearly all Americans. The only long-term beneficiaries are ultra rich, who will become even richer and more powerful. This appears to be their motive. Indeed, if there is a common thread to their political work, it is to increase their personal wealth above all else.

You can't oppose the handful of fantastically wealthy "conservative" donors by boycotting Koch Industries, unless you drill for oil in your spare time. You probably don't have an equity interest in  Renaissance Technologies, where Robert Mercer made his money. However, Uline makes consumer products. Buying Uline products supports Richard Uihlein's assault on science, facts, and democratic traditions.

This one is easy. Just Google "Richard Uihlein". If you like what you see, then buy Uline products. If you don't, boycott Uline.
