Thank you to everyone for the support and love! We believe in our hearts we are doing the right thing in the best interest of all of our children - including the baby. I don't like being a foster parent fighting another foster parent - it just feels so wrong! At the same time - Dan and I are committed to keeping family together - and that means keeping these siblings together! We have been involved with this case since she was 2 days old and we asked for updates all the time! We have followed the paperwork trail... They got back an APPROVED homestudy for us! My daughter and I flew there - with diaper bag, coming home outfit, toys, everything needed to bring her home - including a car seat in the rental car to have our dreams shattered that next day! Someone wrote about the look of disappointment in a childs eyes is the worst! HONESTLY that was harder then anything else that day - she was so excited to bring her sister home. We brought her home at 8 months (while I know where she was prior to that and how loved she was) she only has pictures to remember it by - she only remembers us - Mommy and Daddy! She came home at 8 months and she is 150% bonded and attached. At the age of 7 she was sleeping on my lap with her head on my chest (like when she was a baby) when the call came in about the judges decision. I tried to stay strong until she cried - then I lost it too! It is a moment we will forever have but its also a sad one too! I hope we can change this and bring her home! Thank you again to everyone!!
