Juveniles charged as adults are individuals who will never have all their rights at ANYTIME during their adult life, permanently marked preventing majority of opportunities in pursuit to happiness. Its just now getting steam passing laws preventing law enforcement from interviewing juveniles without legal council. That only slows down juveniles being railroaded to solve crimes and doesn’t help any of the ones who was. The individuals who are habitual become charged with other crimes as adults, what about the juveniles who haven’t committed another crime? Imagine carrying a decision you made as a teenager for the rest of your life? And only got a minimal punishment say 2 1/2 probation?, Sitting around approaching 40 now with a family and children of your own about to graduate and still paying the cost? That’s my reality. 

2000CF305 was dismissed against me for no evidence, that didn’t stop me from losing my schorloship and other opportunities I was hoping to reach. This case was dismissed against me but didn’t stop outrages amount of money having to be spent.

2000CF403 charged again for the same crime? Difference is no money and my then current girlfriend was pregnant with our first born, now 17 yrs old I took a plea for 33 months probation to end my punishment, permission to marry her who was 16 at the time prevent the 2 crooked officers from charging me. 

I have zero other criminals history like most juveniles railroaded during that time, transparency was whatever the officers wanted to say, that has improved today and I’m hoping to see a “body camera law” to help protect the community as a whole. 

Juvniles charged as adults are second class citizens, never during the remainder of their life get to have one day as adult, equal, free and experience America’s full opportunities as an equal. 

Crimnal background has prevented me from Simple things like a savings account, medical treatment, loans, housing, no small bank lending and a number at a big bank if you have an account at all, employment, education and so on. At what point does the second class end? Just like to enjoy real freedoms, like any other person. That’s a little what it is like for juvniles charged as adults, who are now adults just trying to get an opportunity as an honest individual, it’s never you now 40 yrs old. It’s always when you was 13,15, 17 yrs old charged as adult and got probation.
