We will be covering surrogacy as well as prostitution and pornography and will be running interactive workshops in break out rooms in addition to speakers and panel discussions in the main hall. We are thrilled that a number of survivors of the prostitution and surrogacy industries have agreed to speak, along with other experts, and Reem Alsalem, the UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls, its causes and consequences.

We are hoping that the workshops will be of wide interest. There is one for parents, teachers and others who work with children on strategies for helping children to thrive in our porn-soaked world, one aimed at younger women struggling to date and build careers in a world in which many, if not most, of their male contemporaries are heavy porn users, a workshop aimed at men who want to discuss the impact of porn on their lives and relationships, one aimed at health and other professionals about how to best support women they encounter through their work who have a history of involvement in prostitution, and one on practical strategies for resisting the growth of the surrogacy industry. You need to attend in person to participate in the workshops.
