We are almost at our goal of 500 signatures! At this time, we are seeking letters of support for the petition. These can be sent via email to saskmuslimcommunity@gmail.com.

Letters of support will be sent along with the list of petition signatories to the Chief of Protocol for Saskatchewan, Lieutenant-Colonel Jason Quilliam. Letters are welcome from all including community members, community leaders, award winners in Saskatchewan (including other QE II Platinum Jubilee Medal Award winners) and organizations.

We remain in support of all victims of fraud. We continue to emphasize that, at a time when fraud is on the rise in Canada, it is inappropriate to minimize or overlook fraudulent behaviour by awarding an individual found guilty of defrauding an elderly person with one of the highest awards in the province.
