Surrey Mayor's response to our petition & ensuing action

Dear Friends,

We have received a response from the Mayor of Surrey, and it tells us that 'there are no plans to reinstate' the poet laureate program. View the message here: https://surreypoetlaureate.wordpress.com/2023/07/29/the-mayors-response-to-the-petition-july-18-2023/

And here is our submission on behalf of all of us who would like to see Surrey's poet laureate program reinstated:                          https://surreypoetlaureate.wordpress.com/2023/08/01/our-reply-to-the-mayor-august-1-2023/

We'll soon have a 'Comments' page where you can show your support and give your suggestions. Meanwhile, feel free to contact us at 'surrey dot muse at gmail dot com'.
