With the Official Red Dwarf convention due this year, and still no word on whether the special has been saved, stopped shopping round, or being released in book format, things have been a little quiet as of late.

But some exciting news today worth sharing, with the announcement in the form of a new novel (The first Red Dwarf novel in 30 years!!!), a prequel by the other half of the co creators of Red Dwarf, Robert Grant.
