It's been quieter lately.

Doug Naylor is still attempting to shop around the cancelled special to other networks, with a plan b to release it as a book.

But what more can you do to help Red Dwarf.

  1. First and foremost, share the campaign, use the hashtag, keep getting the word out. #SaveRedDwarf include posts about why you love the series, your favourite Red Dwarf moments, why you want it back or why it deserves a final encore, any plot holes or storylines you want resolved.
  2. STREAM - Red Dwarf is available on BBC Iplayer, coming to 4oD and once in a Blue Midget on Netflix and Prime, got access and it's free, stream, watch, get it trending. Got the money, buy a digital copy on prime. Do YouGov surveys? - When doing the regularly TV survey say your watching Red Dwarf.
  3. Got Money? Christmas is coming, add Red Dwarf to your Christmas List or buy as a gift. There's the recent new blu ray box set, the audiobooks, got a bigger wallet, the official and big Red Dwarf convention is coming, get or gift a ticket.
  4. All else fails, write to UKTV, ask them to reconsider, tag, write to and comment on streaming platform socials and ask them to pick up Red Dwarf. It's unlikely to be heard or get a response, but worth a try if you're willing.

Although quiet, this campaign to show Doug and the boys support is still going, and still persevering.

There's been nay sayers and moaners (the joys of 21st century social media) but all of you have signed and at least can be content that you have tried something, rather than moan or do nothing. For that I (Rimmer) salute you all.

Let's bring the slime home!
