I got a response from Doug's agent this morning, and wanted to share to the fans and all have signed.


I'm hugely grateful for the amazing fan support and everything you’re doing; unfortunately, recommissioning Red Dwarf sits with the broadcaster and there’s not much we can do until a broadcaster or a streamer comes along who’s prepared to commission the show. 

That said, it’s always encouraging and humbling to know how much the show means to people and rest assured I’m trying to find a new home for the small rouge one.

I've wished them the best of luck and thanked them for their message and ensured that we as fans we continue rallying our support on our end.

We've passed 3k, £600 in contributions and still aiming for that 5k milestone.

Lets continue the good work and show our support and that there is indeed demand not just for Red Dwarf, but for British Sitcoms.
