The Government claim that it is only fair that people who wish their spouse to live here in the UK should support them. This is all very well for the millionaire Prime Minister and his Eaton attending mates. unfortunately most people don't have their advantages.

They claim people should support their spouse without Government help.

PEOPLE ALREADY DO!!!!!

When a spouse moves to the UK they are given a Biometric Residence Card which clearly states they are not entitled to Government funds. NOT ENTITLED TO GOVERNMENT FUNDS so obviously their partner and family support them. People will moan they use the NHS. Well they pay a fee to use this service which is increasing to over £1000 per year from 16th January 2024.

Now whether the person supports their spouse from their earnings or their legitimately paid benefits does not matter. They are supporting their spouses without any extra Government money being paid.

The Prime Minister and his right wing bullies are being economical with the truth when not mentioning that the spouses are already supported by their partner and family not his Government who are using this as a smoke screen to blind us all to their huge failure in stopping the boats.
