We are grateful to share that Carmel High School’s ACE Week schedule will now maintain normal transportation patterns.
Sincere thanks to Superintendent Dr. Oestreich, the Carmel Clay School Board of Trustees, Carmel Clay Schools district leadership, and Carmel High School leadership for listening to community concerns and helping guide this issue toward a thoughtful, student-centered resolution.
We recognize that leadership in a district of this size is complex, and we appreciate the care, time, and consideration given to a decision that impacts students, families, staff, transportation, safety, and the broader community.
This positive outcome reflects one of the strengths of Carmel Clay Schools: a willingness to listen, evaluate feedback, and continue making thoughtful decisions in the best interest of students.
Thank you also to the families and community members who shared concerns respectfully and constructively. This was always about student safety, family planning, transportation, and community impact.
We are grateful for this resolution and thankful to be part of a school community where collaboration can lead to practical, positive solutions.
