Hello everyone!

Thank you so much to everyone who has signed, supported and kept up to date with what I have been up to!

I am so grateful that this petition even got more than 5 signatures, so never mind just under 41,000!

I am going to Downing Street this Tuesday to deliver it, I hope it doesn't rain!

I am sure not much will change or happen from this annoyingly. I have written to the home office and they have said they will keep my concerns "in mind" when they review legislation later this year. 

I have written to every government minister of crime, policing, VAWG, safeguarding and even the Mayor with no response. Disheartened doesn't even cut it, but I knew I would face resistance or silence especially as this touches on policing.

Since the crappy response from government about my concerns in current legislation and the meh attitude I have received back, I have created a new petition which is to "Abolish internal Professional Standards departments in Public/Emergency Services" which will be available shortly after the House of Commons Petitions team review it. Please keep a look out on my social media for the link when it is approved and hopefully you will sign it. 

This new petition is in line with Speak Up Now UK's campaign "Fairness Isn't Internal" which you can read about on their website.
