Update: I see this has been gaining a lot of attention. Hopefully, Principle Blasewitz will understand the point of view that students have and why it’s important to us, our academics, and education. I chose to make this petition for you all because I felt this way initially and disliked it (Block in 2020-2021) a lot in my freshman year. It feels unfair not to just students, but also the teachers. Many or some teachers dislike the same formula they repeatedly teach everyday, but the block had doubled their work and made it worse, in a sense. Although, I may not fully have the understanding of a teacher, I still care for every student like a teacher. 2020-2021 at Brantley had a very similar schedule, rules were more strict, and I want to be someone to undoubtedly make a change for the better. I care about my education like how all of you should too. There is so much I can see myself changing, but this is the biggest thing I needed to comment on. I believe if we get 2/3 or 4/5 of students with additional teachers signing on (including the new population of students and teachers), we can gain the attraction of more. In addition to that, I hope we see ourselves successful in a progressive petition. Go Patriots!
