Update/Meeting with President

Hello, everyone. I (Nick) am writing to update everyone on a meeting I will have with the president and an update on the petition itself.

First, I want to clarify something. The writing center director and math center director are the same person. Desiree is not being removed from her position. I know that it specifies the writing center in the petition but that is simply the director of the learning center (Jason). I have also heard talk that the school may actually look for an engineering tech with funds that should be going to engineering. 

We have over 315 signatures as of today and that is awesome. I haven't been able to go around campus this past week but we are still getting signatures online.

Next Monday, June 1st, I am going to have a meeting with the president of the school, Dr. Guillory, to discuss the petition. I will say that I want to keep the meeting specific to what we can do to make progress. I am not trying to go in there and rip up the president and cabinet. With that being said, if there is anything specific that you think would be helpful in making that progress, please let me know.
