We’re pleased to share some very good news. The independent arbitrator has ruled in favor of the AAUP in our grievance against Portland State University regarding the treatment of non-tenure-track faculty. You can read more about it here: PSU AAUP | PSU-AAUP wins NTTF arbitration judgment

This is a vindicatory outcome: the arbitrator affirmed that PSU violated the contract and ordered the university to compensate and restore the affected faculty. It’s an important step toward protecting fair employment practices and ensuring accountability.

We want to thank everyone who signed and supported our petition: your solidarity helped make this possible. The work isn’t finished, though. As PSU moves to implement the ruling and as new challenges arise in the coming months, we may once again need your voices and your advocacy.
