We, the Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres within the Metro East region, are united in expressing our grave concerns and disappointment following the decision to transfer Ms. Vuyokazi Nombewu from her position within Metro East to Metro North. This abrupt change has left us bewildered and deeply anxious about the future of the remarkable progress we have achieved under her leadership.

Ms. Nombewu has been a pivotal figure in our community, providing unwavering support and effective leadership to ECD centres in Metro East. Her dedication and passion for early childhood education have facilitated significant improvements in our programmes, enhancing the quality of education and care for our young learners.

Under Ms. Nombewu's guidance, we have witnessed noticeable advancements, including the implementation of innovative teaching strategies and improved access to essential resources.
