Following our persistent online advocacy and petition, Senator Shuaibu Isa Lau has listened and donated 10 Million Naira as a critical first step for the urgent reconstruction of the Lau Referral Hospital!
While 10 million Naira is just a fraction of the total budget needed for a full overhaul, this is a massive victory for community action. It proves that when we speak up, our leaders must listen!
To those who tried to intimidate us, threaten us, or asked us to withdraw: we did not back down. We stood our ground out of pure love for our people. Sickness knows no political party, and a functional hospital benefits every single household in Lau.
