With the country in economic turmoil, more and more UK citizens are warming to the idea of public ownership to save our beleaguered public services.
People are rightfully questioning why they should pay spiraling costs to private companies for increasingly poor performance.
As we approach the winter months, it is understandable that water pollution slips down the public agenda. Yet it is vitally important that we do not let water companies off the hook until next summer.
That is why we are calling for one final push to get our petition to renationalise the water industry over the 200,000 mark.
With 194,000+ of you already having signed, we're so close to achieving this incredible landmark. So we're pledging that if we hit 200,000 by Monday 24th October, we'll hand deliver the petition to the UK government next week.
If we could ask you to share the petition one more time on your social media channels, WhatsApp groups or by word of mouth to friends and relatives, we are hopeful we can get there.
Thank you all for your incredible support.
