Dear friends, Not strictly a campaign update but certainly relevant to the cause. Attached is a survey link - it closes at MIDNIGHT TONIGHT (Tues 8 May) - also an opportunity to win an iPad. We see this survey as a rare and VITAL opportunity for independent musicians to tell their stories. Resulting data will be crucial to campaigns such as this. There is also an opportunity here to mention the impact cuts to music programming on ABC radio has had on your business (whether you are a promoter, musician, independent label, publicist, etc.) Please consider participating and sharing. It will take you about 40 minutes. "The project seeks to examine the ways in which Australian musicians are currently navigating their careers in a highly dynamic and diversified sector. Making Music Work will create a comprehensive and detailed picture of the working lives, career trajectories, and economic circumstances of portfolio musicians in Australia". This survey is being conducted by Griffith University; partners include Australian Research Council, Creative Victoria, Australian Council for the Arts, Department of Local Government, Sports and Cultural Industries, Curtin University, Create NSW and University of South Australia. https://makingmusicwork.com.au Thanks - from the #saveRNmusic team
