Dear friends, Since our last update, we've been busy posting out hundreds of t-shirts (enormous thanks for your support so far), working with festivals to raise awareness and on the 6th of March, two of our core group participated in a Senate Inquiry in Melbourne. Meanwhile, hundreds of jobs have been axed from the ABC and two new board members have been announced. SENATE INQUIRY: Our submission to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Amendment (Rural and Regional Advocacy) Bill 2015 was enthusiastically received and we were thrilled to be able to put our case to a Parliamentary Inquiry. Upcoming festivals who are supporting this campaign include the National Folk Festival (ACT), St. Albans Folk Festival (NSW), Byron Bay Bluesfest (NSW), Fairbridge Festival (WA) and Candelo Village Festival (NSW). Due to your generosity, we've been able to print hundreds of posters and thousands of stickers that are being distributed at festivals around the country. T-SHIRTS: T-shirts will be available (in limited numbers) at the National Folk Festival and Candelo Village Festival, and we're working to make them available at Fairbridge Festival as well. If you want to wear one at a festival and don't want to miss out, we'd still encourage you to order online. We print to order, so please keep this in mind and get online ASAP.
