Today was a big day for our campaign. At 2pm this afternoon, we issued an open letter to the ABC Board. We also launched our website: www.savernmusic.com The open letter, a media release, a LONG list of endorsements (from individuals and organisations who have publicly agreed to support us), and ALL of your comments as of 10.30pm last night can be found here. While we may not get an immediate reply from the ABC Board, we hope we have at least made it clear that the music industry, numerous public figures and the most important people of all – YOU; Radio National listeners – strongly object to these cuts. Tonight, Mark Colvin (Radio National PM) interviewed Shane Howard (Goanna) on behalf of the campaign, and also ABC Radio's Head of Music Chris Scaddan. Clearly, the ABC Board have not thought through the issues that have been presented, and need to revisit the decision. Have a listen and see what you think. Link below.
