I’m distraught to report that our beloved Charlie is suffering due to mismanagement. She is showing a high level of stress behaviour and needs your help.

The Department of Conservation is trying to brush this aside! The want to claim she will ‘settle in’ as if any bird could ‘settle in’ from distress. She will suffer the effects of chronic stress and continue these alarming behaviours, and DoC is willing to let that happen, just so they can breed the maximum amount of birds in this horrible environment. 
Charlie needs Your Voice if she is to return home. Please comment on the posts, react, and share publicly on social media. If we don’t tell DoC this is unacceptable, they will continue to cause harm with bad management decisions.
