Hi there,

Thanks again for your support of the petition to save Gretel - Australia's 1st America's Cup Challenger.

We now have close to 600 signatures, and nearly 400 members of the Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1G5xZab71K/.  

Imagine when Gretel is home and sailing again, the ways she can benefit the NSW and Australian community:

1. Learn to sail days, and fun race days for those less fortunate
2. Showcasing the yacht and Sydney Harbour for local and international tourists
3. Supporting private events - team building or corporate days
4. Charity fundraising days
5. And imagine the tourim and community benefits when we organise a re-match with Weatherly from the US - the Amercian yacht that defeated Gretel in 1962. 

First and foremost though, being available to the community to enjoy, and to preserve our maritime heritage for future generations.
