UPDATE – 7/26/23

Thank you all for supporting our petition to retract Proximal Origins. The petition is gaining huge momentum with over 1,700 signatures in less than a week!

To complement this petition, an open letter to Nature Medicine from STEM and STEM-policy professionals has been sent to Nature Medicine chief editor Joao Monteiro today at noon EDT.

This action begins the formal campaign for retraction of the paper.
