Hi All,
I cannot thank you enough for signing this petition and supporting this cause. However, we seem to have hit a dead end with this petition as there are not enough signatures after so many days.
The New Indian Express got in touch with me and offered me a chance to publish a counter article on this issue and I have published one.
While the Media continues to paint Animal Welfare in a negative light, I tried to reach out to the sentiments of the public, trying to make them understand WHY we have an issue. There's obviously a lot more to say on this matter but we had a word limit.
To combat the negative media, a friend of mine is starting a page on socials where we can all share stories of animal cruelty and harm that feeders and caretakers face on a daily basis throughout the country. We will use this platform to tag relevant authorities and question them publicly, and hold them accountable wherever necessary. We will tackle cases from all around the country, and once we build a solid follower base, we will start providing legal help as well. This is still under works, and only the instagram handle has been made public for now, it's @petpaperproject
We are still building the website for the same.
As for this petition, to more than 600 of you that signed your names to this, we and thousands more are in this together. We are the movement and the power that is going to make the real change for our community animals.

Thank you so much for your support, this was more than I ever imagined we would have, but we needed lakhs of signatures to hold the author accountable.
I will be closing this petition. But MORE POWER TO YOU ALL!
