Hello Westfield Neighbors,

We'd like to update you on our activity regarding One Westfield Place (OWP), future plans and opportunities for you to join us to prevent this outsized project from negatively and irreversibly impacting our Town’s environment and further strain the Raritan Valley South Ave and North Ave corridor.  And to encourage you to have more friends and neighbors sign the petition and grab a lawn sign.

Legal Action: Westfield Advocates vs. Town of Westfield
On March 29th, a formal complaint was filed against the Town of Westfield regarding OWP and its consistency with the Master Plan (article about the lawsuit can be found at tapinto). The lawsuit was filed by Westfield Advocates for Responsible Development on behalf of our fellow townspeople.

Public Information: Continued Community Outreach
We will continue to inform our community regarding the details of OWP and our concerns with size, scope, financing/PILOT and the negative impact to our Central Business District, character of our historic town and adjacent residential districts. We will also continue to expose inaccuracies by Streetworks Development and our town officials to hold them accountable.
