First of all, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has continued supporting this petition. We have now reached an incredible 2,480 supporters.
I also want to apologise for the lack of updates recently, as I’ve been dealing with some health issues, but seeing the petition continue to grow has genuinely meant a lot.
Since the petition began, there have been even more reports of payment providers influencing what products and content can be sold online. Major platforms such as Steam and Itch.io reportedly removed or restricted thousands of products following pressure connected to payment processor policies.
This is exactly why this conversation matters.
Regardless of personal opinions on certain products or content, many people are becoming concerned about large financial companies having the power to pressure platforms and sellers into removing legal products.
