Hi all! We urgently need more signatures please, as there is already another upcoming event planned again!!!
A formal grievance and petition have been submitted to the municipality, and have since also been supported and published by various media partners and newspaper outlets.
If you signed, please ask your family and spouses to sign too, so we have a strong and valid case when it is reviewed by the municipality before the next event.
Please note that supporting with a signature does not mean we are against entertainment, events, music or culture, and we certainly do not want to kill the sport clubs and commercial entities in the neighbourhood, however the nature in which the last event was done, with little prior awareness, intolerable loudness, and blaring broadcasts from morning till night - all in violation of the mentioned noise regulations - is utterly inappropriate in a neighbourhood housing families right next to the clubs. It is heartbreaking to hear that an older member of our society had to sleep in her garage, inside her car, to block out the noise, and being fine with that is unacceptable !!!
