On March 20th, Iranians celebrated their new year, under the longest internet shutdown in the country's history. This digital siege turned Nowruz, a season of rebirth and connection, into a period of forced isolation.

For the first time, families were unable to exchange New Year greetings with their relatives in the diaspora, who were forced to leave their homeland, despite unwavering patriotism. Meanwhile, the regime’s propaganda machine uses White SIM cards to continue flooding the world with misinformation.

This is not a technical failure; it is a human rights violation designed to hide state actions, and repress and isolate a nation.

Please continue Sharing & Supporting this petition demanding that international tech bodies and global leaders take steps to provide direct-to-cell internet access to the Iranian people.
