On behalf of the grassroots coalition, Save Bristol 4th, we wish to extend our deep gratitude to the countless members of our community, and our local small businesses, who respectfully raised their voices, donated money, and collected signatures over the past year. 

To the Bristol Fourth of July Committee and Bristol Town Officials, thank you for listening to the voice of the community and returning the annual concert series to Independence Park in 2026. This decision reflects a shared commitment to preserving the vibrancy of our town’s historic Fourth of July celebration, supporting local businesses, and maintaining accessibility for all residents.

We also would like to extend our gratitude to both Chief Lynch and Administrator Contente for securing a $200,000 safety equiptment grant that provided the pathway for returning to Independence Park safely.
 
Looking ahead, Save Bristol 4th encourages all residents to support the Bristol Fourth of July Committee to ensure the concert series has its most successful year yet. The 2026 celebration also marks the 250th anniversary of our country, and what better way to celebrate than concerts at our cherished downtown waterfront, Independence Park.
