Thank you all for the support, in less than 24 hours we have been able to gather over 600 signatures, begin forming the group Save Bristol 4th, and are now starting to attract the attention of media and decision makers. We thank State Senator Walter S. Felag, Jr., who represents a portion of Bristol, for speaking with one of our group members today and voicing his support for the cause. We also thank GoLocal Prov for covering our effort (https://www.golocalprov.com/news/Moving-Bristol-4th-of-July-Concert-Series-to-RWU-Draws-Strong-Opposition) and to the other news outlets who have reached out. We have already begun engaging with downtown business owners as well as the Town Council and look forward to future discussions. We have hope that the 4th of July Committee will hear the overwhelming outcry from residents and engage with us in finding a way to reverse this decision. Stay tuned!
